Winner of the first race, has had a very high % chance of winning the title.
And it doesnt look like Alonso Kimi or Vettel will be winning tomorrow. So i'd say its good judgement , especially when it comes to Alonso's ferrari.

Remember Mclaren have the best development team in terms of finding speed through the year. So if the start the season infront, It looks promising for the woking team

You are right and the race is won on sunday, not saturday.

Yeah well at no point drivers other than BUT were on pole contention... Fair play to him.

@Pierce89,

To be perfectly honest I thought Kimi was going to trample him and I said so in the forum, just the opposite happened. Credit where it is due.

For the record, BUT was 0.027 slower at the 2nd split, he finished +0.152 from HAM so he couldn't have gone faster than him in the last sector either; matches the error suggesiton though.
so HAM is the only pole contender for you? I named the top seven before quali, afterwards we can talk a lot...

GRO might be faster than RAI.

Just for clarification. I was looking at official timing app for android which shows what tires have been used and all drivers from McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull and Lotus were only using Medium compounds in Q1. Grosjean third quickest time in Q1 was done on harder compound.

Ferrari are as i predicted, falling further backwards. Year after year, since Michael and the team had left, its been downhill. Ferrari without Schumi won nothing of any note since the 70's

@FrukostScones,
To be perfectly honest I didn't consider anyone else other than VET and HAM for the front row.

I feel for Alonso though, he's such a good driver. Seems like he's sharing a similar fate with Prost. I just hope he doesn't throw the towel in saying the car is like a truck like Prost did back in the day and instead perseveres through this.

Honourable mention: Maldonado. He's been getting a lot of flak but managed to get within a sec. of pole which I think is fantastic both for him and Williams.

Disappointment: Senna. He should at least have matched Maldonado. His q2 time was more than 0.4s slower than his team mate...

Hamilton nailed it! Was surprised to see Red Bull so far behind. Didnt expect Lotus to be this fast as well! Good job Grosjean! =D> =D> That was awesome! though i wud ve loved to see MSC in the top 3. I had bet a decent amount on Rosberg outqualifying Schumacher but I dnt give a damn about it :lol: Looking forward to a thrilling race tomorrow.

Yeah, hopefully everyone gets through turn 1 cleanly.

I expect Lewis to gap button for first 5 laps, then Jenson to come back at him.

i think this shows the abillity of Schumacher to build up a decent team. There are a lot of good drivers, but you need more than driving skills to help your team improve. I would guess in terms of feedback to the engineers Schumacher is the guy you want to have, especially with his long formula one experience.

i too think lewis will shoot off at the start. but i expect jenson to be looking after the tyres as he always does and might outdo lewis strategically. I think its going to be a very close fight between the two mclaren drivers, theyve been close to each other all weekend
