The cars do go straight to China. There was an article about Lotus having to ship out a new chassis for Grosjean and how that meant they were shipping his original chassis back to the factory for tests but Raikkonen's and the rest of the equipment would be going straight to China.raymondu999 wrote:Not necessarily. A lot of the logistics are also centrally organised and managed by FOM (and I believe they pay for a large part of it too). Handling the shipping of everything back to different locations to then be shipped out again all over the place would add a huge amount of complexity and cost.banibhusan wrote:To save additional shipping costs.
