Commented yesterday that today would have a new front wing on the car of Peter and the other front wing come Saturday for the car of Narain

Apparently the parts have not arrived

As you say, do not meet deadlines, to still have the design in Germany

maybe what we see in the second session or tomorrow

En cualquier caso no espero ver un aleron delantero revolucionario.
Yo pienso que sera una modificación sobre diseño existente

They didn't put back the part that flew off PDLR's car in FP1 :wtf:
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

As I remember even a McLaren or a Williams had a Rearwing that flew off.

I maintain HRT will only move forward when the appoint a new TD. Cuquerella lacks the experience for the post I'm afraid.

They had Willis..I´m not sure if a big name in a small team is a good idea.
Yo never know it could wellbe a second or third or fourth line engineer in a big team may be a good choice for a small team .
jeanclaude martens as head of design may not have the reputation profile as Willis or Bell, but he did design complete cars of high complexity at toyota already a decade ago...so he has experience galore not just in a small area technically.

You could well be right, but I thought Martens was a Holzer employee. HRT do need someone with an aero background to head up their design strategy.

As far as I remember these were flexing rear wings which just collapsed, which makes it pretty different imo

Same thing happened in 2004 with the Jordan and 2002 With Irvine, Minardi, McLAren, Jordan, Williams. These were just flexing wings(and they still are imo, just with the material development)

Funny that ...as Martens attened the same Rouelle seminar as me some time ago and
as did 2 Holzer guys... the world is small ..

What does it matter if the wing profile is flexing when the hole wing mount is collapsing?

You are comparing it to those rear wings that just flew off around 2002-2005. Difference is, the HRT one just 'falls off' where these rear wings you compare them to where pushed over the limit of flexing, causing them to collapse.

Their car is still plagued by the snap oversteer which was a problem for the last 2 years. With Pirelli rubber I think the emphasis has moved from Aero to mechanical stability.
