its absolutely CHUCKING down outside and was raining all last night too...(west london).

If it was/is the same at Silverstone right now, I feel really bad for the campers lol.

I was watching GP3 and GP2 races. GP3 started in wet(ish) and kept drying, so some even started on slicks. GP2 was dry, except some drops here and there in the last couple of laps.

As long as we don't have a repeat of Monaco, where the threat of rain (which never came) scared everyone away from the pits, it should be ok!

I'm about 30 miles south of the circuit and I'm on slicks :D

But the skies are black. This could be a long show.

There's the Porsche Super Cap race now at Silverstone and it's completely dry.

Agree with that, but aren't UK residents used to rain ? :)

McLaren have done a little animation that was quite funny but also featured the most detailed CFD particle effects ever seen in a children's cartoon - FIA to investigate :D

Really hoping for a dry to wet race (but full distance :D ) . Looking at the climate graph one can expect a dry/inter start and then rain will come at about 40% race distance but these figures can be wildly offmark due to wind change and movement of rain clouds.
