Remember they were able to put Nico into qualifying in Monaco two years ago after his more impressive crash in FP3.

According to Gary Anderson, the car have front suspension damage. Lewis just said he was testing the car's limits, and locked up.

They lost a day yesterday because of some parts/winding issue. .. It would be really sad for the team if their driver had gone against the set schdule to try and test the limits..

Lewis binned his first ever test run for McLaren too (although it wasn't because the brakes died), and soon won the WDC.
