Last year Hamilton qualified with a 1.24.9, the teams haven't yet showed their hand. Yes the car is very fast and consistent, for one lap, but we haven't seen it race yet.

Also, for all the hoohah about the McLaren pace, they were running what looked like Monaco level rear wing angles in comparison to Red Bull who almost had Monza like rear wing angle going on.

These are the fastest laptimes for each driver. I actually asked for each and every laptime for every driver throughout the two sessions.

As has been said, DRS cannot be used on all circuit during Practice and Qualification like last year, only in designated areas.

Last year's pole's about to be smashed tommorow imo. Unless it rains.

On the F1 website it shows that tomorrow and sunday will rain, but I would have more trust in a local weather report.

Best sectors times last year in Q:

28.329
22.607
33.907

Best sectors times this year in FP2:

28.459
22.968
34.223

I think that the lack of freedom to use DRS all over the circuit is evident!

Compare FP2 from both years and report again. :)

Hehe, I think it was raining, quite slow!

But seriously, they are only supposed to use DRS in the designated sectors, am I wrong?
