Argument from Lotus re Grosjean floor is he hit a kerb so resulting in greater degree of reflection. Over to the stewards.
Exactly the same argument was used by McLaren years ago when Coulthard's car failed front wing test but it resulted in a disqualification anyway.Jonnycraig wrote:Strange that given Grosjean's car failed the test, Raikonnens wasn't immediately tested.@ianparkesf1

The speed trap figure is a fixed point on the track - not necessarily the fastest point of the straightJuzh wrote:
One other thing I'm puzzled about. It says on the pole lap video he's doing 308 kph at the end of start/finish straight, yet on official f1 stats it states only 299 kph
Which corners are you referring to other than the ones I mentioned?Juzh wrote:Pole lap:

He clearly missed apexes on numerous corners and that is not the fastest way around the track no matter how you spin it. He is fast, no doubt about it, but why do people praise this lap as some kind of miracle is beyond me. If you want to see real fast lap around hungaroring you should check 2010 pole, much more impressive than this.

We are obviously watching different laps.Juzh wrote:Pole lap:

3 is not enough for you? He also slightly missed entry to the chickane. And going wide troughout those corners does not get you better traction or lap time. If it did, everyone would be taking that line but they don't. Nor does Vettel on his lap record from 2010.beelsebob wrote: Which corners are you referring to other than the ones I mentioned?
Would you be nitpicking this if Vettel would have posted that lap? I think not. It was a fantastic lap, and one he did in car in my opinion that was slightly inferior to Vettel's. The fact you needlessly bring up Vettel's lap in 2010 when his car was by far fastest proves you have some agenda to your posts.Juzh wrote: 3 is not enough for you? What I'd like to see is Vettel's 2nd sector from his first fyling lap which was something like 5thns faster than hamilton's.
