Bottas was trying the impossible. He would have run off the track as he was going to fast for where he was. He's clearly wrong. Lewis wouldnt expect anyone to be driving at that speed at that moment. There's just no way Bottas would have went round the corner.
He's ruined his own race due to taking an idiotic risk.
For Sure!!

Vettel should be penalized for running the white pitlane stripe on the last lap. It should be equal for everyone. And massa got one.

stewards handed that out to Lewis just to create some semblance of consistency when contrasted to Massa's drive through.
That incident was a racing incedent, there was no intention from Hamilton there to engage in any racing with Bottas. Hamilton was simply setting up for the turn, and Bottas tried to play hero and not use his brakes.
The speed of the impact was enough to destroy his wheel rim, it goes to show the speed differential; Bottas wasn't in control of his car. He should have been on the brakes.
Someone should put up a video.
For Sure!!

Perhaps if he had driven the last lap/corner 3 times.

They can give him a warning, like Massa & Webber. Massa got one. It should be equal for everyone .

Even though it might have been prudent and a good idea of Hamilton to avoid to go knife fighting with a lapped driver, I think the penalty is rather harsh. There was space left even though Hamilton pushed towards Bottas. so the incident could have been avoided by both drivers. To me that says racing incident.
No good marks for cleverness to Hamilton, though.

Hamilton was not meant to finish third in the championship, he was in this position last year and then a collision cost it. 4th again. Just think of kimi and Alonso just think of Kimi and Alonso together at Ferrari, thank god this year is over!!

Webber obviously not impressed by the platitudes from Horner. He looks like a man who can't wait to get away from F1 and RedBull.

Same excuses when he crashed into Kobayashi...lame..bottom line is Lewis has no clue when someone is close to him..clueless...

Well done to Vettel he is truly the boss of bosses!!!! , brilliant brilliant, brilliant...one of the true greats to grace the F1 arena...he might have the best car on the track..but he makes it the best and takes it to levels no one else can..to watch him is to watch perfection...
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

It's like these backmarkers just appear out of nowhere to screw people's race up.
What was Bottas thinking?
He's almost as bad as maldanado.

You know how it feels like being fan of an F1 driver with issues regarding spatial awareness, right? Oz 2009, Turkey 2010, etc...
