Are these done in race trim of 100kg fuel or a combination of shorts and long runs with different fuel load?
It was stated that Mercedes looked to complete a race sim at the last test. I'm sure they monitor fuel consumption and can calculate how far they can go even if they top off at some point during a sim.

OR you could just contribute in a normal way, without any attention wh°ring with funny colors/invisible texts.

on topic: good to see that Magnussen is back with a decent time, i wonder if any team apart from Mercedes would change the drivers' driving times to give them equal time in the cockpit after having issues on both days

Even faster for Magnussen now, a 1m35.489. Really starting to stretch the legs now.

Now Magnussen has gone 1m34.910s. I wonder if they've turned the engine up a touch?

Magnussen has shaven another half a second off. He is now 1.34.910 on super soft. He is really setting the pace.

I don't believe a sub 1:34 would be possible, but maybe......

It's in a (short) stint on top of that. 2.5s away from pole position last year, Button's predictions are getting ahead of himself.

The time Magnussen put is impressive. Faster than what Caterhams and Marussias managed last year in qualy.

I'm certain there's a lot more time still to be found. There's no way that McLaren is running full power yet. Lap times on a par with last season seems pretty likely now (relief!).

Yes, he had a cool down lap and another flying lap, hitting mid 1:35, also a very impressive time. Is it safe to say the cars are not that slow after all? How fast will they go until the end of testing, 1:33:xxx?

13:24 The McLaren returns to the pits after that short run. EDD STRAW reports that Magnussen was running the super-soft tyre.
