Nothing, it's testing. So Times are widespread. Different Fuel Loads, Engine Maps, Aero testing..... So much Variables.diemaster wrote: Alonso sets the fastest middle sector time on soft tyres
why 1.6 seconds slower than maganussen, sandbagging or another?
what do you think?

Jesus guys, you realise that times are utterly irrelevant right now? And will be till last two days of second Bahrain test... Alonso was faster than anyone on soft tyre (Kevin was on supersoft) in the middle sector, so obviously nothing can be taken from these times yet... Nobody is pushing yet, McLaren is doing this to get the headlines, as was Force India yesterday. You really think Mercedes will be slower than these two cars, having both bigger budget and being works team?mclaren_mircea wrote:ThanksThunders wrote:AMuS states Soft too for Alonso.
I'm relieved So Magnussen's time of -1606 on super softs is superior to Alonso's time on soft. If we take -800 the difference between softs and super softs it will still remain almost a full second in Kevin's favour =D>
Kevin's time was set on a 5 lap stint, while Alonso's time on a 6 lap stins, so the fuel have to be the same [-o<
It may be simply that the Mclaren is definetely a better cardiemaster wrote:Alonso sets the fastest middle sector time on soft tyresf1316 wrote:Any news on the tyres for Alonso's last run? He was fastest of all in the middle sector, so you'd imagine either soft or super soft.
