Long run pace wasn't bad though.

So that was something along the lines of 11 secs faster than the FI cars in P3 over the course of 4-5 laps after the restart and 24 secs by the end of the race. Seemingly, the ultimate pace difference on a fuel intensive and fast track like Bahrain is easily 2 seconds.

The Mercs were sandbagging a lot... I couldn't believe their pace the last ten laps... I hope the development continues and they go from strength to strength... specially looking forward to the new nose... whenever it does manage to pass the crash tests..

Great stuff from the team, They deserved it. Mercedes just showed us what we've missed the lasat four years. Two competative drivers going toe to toe in a monstercar. Lewis was fighting Nico of like something out of 300. Pure class. =D>
