There was an opening in that area before but I can't remember if it was sculpted like that. I'd guess that they're using it as an extractor; by allowing some high speed flow through the slot they can increase the extraction of hot air from the cooling ducts in the rear bodywork.Aaronque wrote:

This is definitely new and wasn't present on the W05.
