Scuderia Ferrari SF15-T

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

If a team was to slap a bunch of winglets on the outside of the sidepods it would not be ok, so why is it OK on the inside? IIRC the rules involve measurements from the center line and floor which should include bodywork what's purpose is 'cooling' even though they have a cascade wing in there?

The number of elemnets (again if correct) seem like a mid cascade wing, where the other teams have one in the front and one in the rear only
Legal or not i doubt that the air passing through those wiglets, then radiator(s) then another flow conditioner can create any useful downforce...

It's normal for drivers to change things like steering wheel to suit them. Where they like certain buttons to be placed. Lewis and Nico have different design too. It's not involvement it's their preference.
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.

I can't be sure, but the floor seems different in the tire squirt area. I am comparing to testing, so this may have already raced:

Fernando Alonso is the best pay-to-drive driver in F1 with the biggest amount of money behind him.

Pretty logical to me. Because the 1st unit got throw power circuits as Malasia, China already. So the tokens allocation could be set somewhere in the "expected" and rumored mid season. Nothing radical to me. Actually this would be strange if Merc not do the same.

Hamilton did the same thing when he arrived at Mercedes...
