Interesting comparison. If one stops it at various points, particularly apices, one finds that it is quite close with one driver being quicker somewhere and then slower somewhere else. My guess is that the better power allows the 2015 car to be quicker over the lap - certainly the straight line speed is better at the end of the straights. Acceleration out of corners will probably benefit slightly too once they're not traction limited; interestingly Hamilton is quicker at the first apex but slower at the next one suggesting that perhaps Rosberg was able to get on the power a touch earlier. Hamilton is faster by mid way along the next straight. Fascinating comparison and shows that a few tenths really is very little in the grand scheme of things unless you're a racing driver!
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Yeh, it's clear that the 2015 Merc is faster out of corners than the 2014. That might explain why it eats its rear tyres more than last year's.

It looks like Arrivabene caught Toto pissing in the bushes behind the Ferrari pits again

Is it obvious? They haven't managed in the last 3 races to out stint Ferrari, so it's pretty unlikely here...

Vettel & Raikonnen will likely be bottled up behind Rosberg after T1 though so not close enough to do anything.
You mean apart from the last race when Hamilton not only went longer... but went massively faster at the end of his stint?

You mean the front tyre limited one?

Great interview with Vettel and Hamilton now, BBC.

Longer than who?

Vettel pitted early on both stints to try and undercut Rosberg and Raikonnen ran further on both stints.

Is the gap appearing smaller between Ferrari and Mercedes because they are secretly trying to improve the show?

Hamiltons gold chains...I'd like to see him take it to the next level with some gold teeth..
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

Yes, ERS issue. This is getting very worrying.

Pity Mclaren never got in on the conspiracy
