It helps a lot when you have three opportunities in a row and every time the only competition is only one driver = your team-mate. "Hamilton driving away" again? I have a better question: can Rosberg win the start
?
- At least predictions worked - Ricciardo close to Vettel, boring qualifying but that is what happens when you remove midfield and talent from competing and you have 4 RB chosen ones and some other questionable choices instead.
- Did Verstappen junior lose all his talent in two days and can headlines be erased backwards? No, "Verstappen shines in FP1" without the context stands but there's no "doesn't shine in FP2, FP3, and especially qualifying".
- More importantly will Perez get "new Senna" headlines? I doubt it. That's the level of coverage of formula 1,
- Raikkonen beyond awful, Williams surprisingly bad for a top three car, they can blame the tyres but it didn't affect anyone else.
