Lewis just explained it for you - he lost temp and pressure in his tires.Traction wrote:None the less a good win for Lewis although it did seem like Rosberg was about to catch him before the rain came..not sure what was going on then..
Missed that originally but got it on replay..just as well the rain came then..Moose wrote:Lewis just explained it for you - he lost temp and pressure in his tires.Traction wrote:None the less a good win for Lewis although it did seem like Rosberg was about to catch him before the rain came..not sure what was going on then..

Yeah but look at Germany with empty Grand stands. Ones thing for sure, the British grand prix is going no where.Just_a_fan wrote:British Grand Prix - full grandstands and an interesting race thanks to the weather. So Bernie, tell us why you keep selling races to countries where no one watches F1 and the grandstands are empty...and then people moan that F1 is dying
Williams did not tell Massa to move over (Thank God), but Bottas was given the green light to pass him and couldn't do it. After the first pit stop, Massa widened the gap. After the rain, Bottas fell back even further.gray41 wrote:Holding his team mate up at the start?zeph wrote:In spite of the results, for me Massa is driver of the day. He drove like a champ.

Doubtful.
Hamilton also got lucky the extra rain came, Nico was all over him.
Lewis was in front because he was able to undercut the Williams in the pit stops, Rosberg did not have that luxury. We also don't know Lewis was faster for "49" as well. They were never in clean air. In fact it was Massa, Bottas, Lewis and Rosberg train till the first stops. You simply can deduce who is faster when they are following each other stuck behind the Williams cars.Moose wrote:Asserting that Hamilton got lucky with the rain I find very odd. Remember, Lewis was 8 seconds in front before the rain. The rain is exactly what caused Lewis to lose time to Nico. Yes, the timing of his pit stop was perfect, but don't let Nico being faster for 3 laps dominate the fact that Lewis was faster for 49.
