That money will head straight to Renault, makes you wonder about Total and Casio as well leaving Red Bull.

You're never going to be a championship winning team in a formula with engine development if you only get an engine which is under developed compared to it's rivals. Perhaps a 2015 Ferrari PU would make a more competitive package than having a 2016 Renault PU but it isn't a viable long term solution.

I do not think the legacy part of TAG Porsche will be harmed. As far as my understanding goes, that was a completely different company then TAG Heuer:

TAG sponsored the Porsche unit in the McLaren and Mansour Ojjeh (TAG-CEO) holdes a stake of the McLaren Group (25%)

TAG purchased the majority of the Uhrenmanufaktur Heuer AG ... making it TAG Heuer.


So Heuer got TAGged by the same TAG, that sponsored McLaren in the 80's

From Mercedes? Puma has sponsored several teams simultaneously... I don't think RBR's Puma deal has any effect on Mercedes' Puma deal. Ferrari also has Puma.
