This is weird because according to Hamilton(if this true) they have little problems to make the softs work. I think they should focus more on these tyres rather than on mediums which they clearly master.

Interesting. So Williams did show their speed after all. Those laps on softs are effectively the fastest laps of the pretest with Kimi equaling to something like 1:21.8 if he was on US at the time and Massa around 1:22.0 respectively.
And Alonso should be able to do at least 1:23.5

A, Other tyres more valuable and would be even more wasted :) ? B. Short/fixed slower speed run to collect data vs long run?

I wonder if these tests in Barcelona may actually be representative at all, or if it just to show that something is done by FIA.

There are some races, which are, have been or will be moved to a sunset/evening schedule. For the show.

Therefore, how does the 'Halo' device affect the crossing from lights to shadows (and vice versa)?
How does it affect vision during sunsets?

Hamilton 1:24.1 MEDIUMS

Ricciardo 1:24.9 MEDIUMS

Just half a second behind Vettels 1:23.5 on the soft tyre.

Those are two very good laps.

Thats a great time on the mediums.. TR are deffinately in the mix with Williams, Force India and RedBull. Going to be exciting to watch this battle.

Well I´m sure that this is only the initia stage of the development and checking of this device. It wouldnt surprise me if Ferrari or Mercedes check them in the FP1 of some races.

McLaren seems to be checking a lot of things but they havent done as many laps as yesterday.

With a better engine than RB, a better chasis than Williams and FI I can see TR being a truly competitive team this season.

Still, I don't think they are running their "new" ferrari PU on the full 100%... Would be nice if anyone has some up-to-date speedtrap information for today.. Since the last 2 days they were always in the bottom regions...
