What about that? ;)
Thats a great time on the mediums.. TR are deffinately in the mix with Williams, Force India and RedBull. Going to be exciting to watch this battle.
All things considered there is still ±0.5s margin to Massa's laptime. But yeah, not bad.

Could I ask you where you get this information? But the numbers confirming my expectations... Seems they are still running it relatively on "safe" mode until they know the software/engine better...

He didn't really push on mediums, but he did 1:23.193 on softs.

We dont know who is pushing and who is not, all we can see is the times.. Its still speculating for now.
Verstappen yesterday also mentioned that he wasn't pushing for laptimes.

Lets see in Melbourne, cant wait!

From what we can see, it's safe to assume that Massa was pushing much more on softs than on mediums.

PS. What's the delta between mediums and US? something around 2sec?

EDIT: Massa now on HARD tyres??

Should be around 2.5-3 secs, considering the difference betwixt M and SS.

It can't as much as 3sec, that would put Merc at the 1:21.0 which is ridiculous at this stage, I'am thinking something in the 2-2.5sec range.

I believe the difference at this track is nowhere near that much, i think it may even be under a second as they are too soft. They give up before the lap is done. You can see people doing runs on super softs and ultrasofts which are on par with soft tire runs

If McLaren Honda can't make a 1.23 with softs or ultra-softs will be a bad feeling

You mean supersofts?

So far only Ferrari and Mercs managed to do 1.23:0 with softs.
