Quick question: Anyone else here finds the Shanghai circuit pretty "not good"?

Seems that Lewis will start from the grid ... and the reason behind that is that there are at least 8 sec. or so to catch the last driver had he start from the box ... in addition to that there is a potential to easily pass 3-4 cars as he did back in Germany 2014 ...

Given that there is almost always a broken wing at T2/3 on lap 1 at this race, I would have elected a pit lane start in China but understand why he wants to start on the grid and would elect to do so on a track without a mickey mouse first corner.

At least today we know Lewis isn't gonna lose five positions off the start.

Is there a way Lewis can make the championship any easier for Rosberg?
I'm already in pain from foreseeing that completely boring human being as World Champion.

Ferrari drivers are now as good as confirmed for '17 :) , exactly this kind of incompetence is required. Now they're colliding with each other. Marchionne has no clue about F1 and should fire himself.

Nothing
- the 2 ferraris hit each other (amongst others)
- ricardo took the lead and blew his tire
- safety car
- vettel overtook while just before the pit lane
- Alonso in the top 3

Alonso and Button seem to be performing above some people's expectations. I'm very impressed with both and hoping for some points. The standards are (as usual for this track (completely empty except for the people strategically coralled into the granstands near the start / finish!
