tires are crap. US that last longer than SS, S that's faster than SS...
and tires last not till the end of performance, but till explosion.
also to pit kimi at that moment... OMG
I think they have been believing the same thing for the last 10 years. Their strategy and choices are "THE" best. The pride has got to them so much that they cant accept that there can be a better strategy to win a championship. Choices they made over the years will finally shape the outcome later and this is just open to the whole F1 community.Pany wrote:BIG Ferrari tactic problem explain: If intention was to differentiate strategy (because of possible rain), the one stop one would have been better for raikkonen, cause drivers characteristics.
I strongly think the tectical Ferrari problems are due to Vettel first drive position; I mean they were sure the best strategy for the day was one stop and thereafter offered it to Vettel (even that with used supersoft) because he wants to be the favourite one. Big big problem which explains also why Kimi is still there: to suit Vettel demands.
Things have changed: other top teams tend to put in car the best pilots for both cars ang give thme same opportunities; this way you can still be competitive with one car if the other one goes to failure or other tyre/traffic problems.
When you are behind Mercedes you need to push always with both cars and put pressure, as redbul (less quick then Ferrari) is doing on Ferrari. Big big Mistake and the worst thing is that still beleave is the best choice.....
So thankfully we won't see Kimi and Seb wearing those Oakley sunglasses anymore?Pierce89 wrote:I'd call Ray Ban a pretty big catch. Good job Arrivabene.
They should have signed Perez.F1NAC wrote:Kimi will stay for 2017!
Yes its official now, Kimi is on board for 2017, great news for Kimi's fans.F1NAC wrote:Kimi will stay for 2017!
Ray Ban belongs to the Luxottica Group, just like Oakley. They just switched brands on the carsPierce89 wrote:I'd call Ray Ban a pretty big catch. Good job Arrivabene.
Well crap.Scuderia1967 wrote:Ray Ban belongs to the Luxottica Group, just like Oakley. They just switched brands on the carsPierce89 wrote:I'd call Ray Ban a pretty big catch. Good job Arrivabene.
Fear not. I've just noticed that the cars now have Ray Ban logos, whereas the Oakley sponsorship was only in the drivers' helmet visors. Probably the switch means more money to the team...Pierce89 wrote:Well crap.Scuderia1967 wrote:Ray Ban belongs to the Luxottica Group, just like Oakley. I take it you're not a fan of Kimi?bauc wrote:Yes its official now, Kimi is on board for 2017, great news for Kimi's fans.F1NAC wrote:Kimi will stay for 2017!
I'm a Mclaren fan, team first regardless of who is driving....so I'm not Kimi's fan since he left Mclaren but I respect him a lotnokivasara wrote:I take it you're not a fan of Kimi?bauc wrote:Yes its official now, Kimi is on board for 2017, great news for Kimi's fans.F1NAC wrote:Kimi will stay for 2017!
I wish we'd see more posts like this instead of all the bashing and hate some people post over and over and over...
I think Ferrari made the right desicion, Kimi is the perfect #2 driver along with Button, and next year it will be important to have solid drivers while they figure out how to get the car on the right track. Ferrari doesn't have a very good track record on the year following a major change in the rules.
No, but they are down on two elements and you mentioned them. Sorry but why did put it like that [-o< ?NL_Fer wrote:So can we conclude from Kimi #5 and Vettel #6, that Ferrari is both down on power and on downforce?
