Maybe setup a bit more towards the race, just like Hamilton?

Awesome laps from Ricciardo and Rosberg.
Should be good fun to watch tommorow!
Apparently VES developed a problem with the renault engine upgrade ( misfire at low revs) and had to take it off the car for quali.

How the hel* do they only notice stuff like this after the fact?

Hamilton lost half of Friday's second practice session because of a hydraulic leak and when he was on track had a number of incidents in which he locked his front wheels and ran wide.

But Mercedes said there may have been a problem with the car causing his difficulties - their information said it was producing less downforce than Rosberg's and they were to analyse the situation further overnight ahead of the race.

I thought he said himself it wasn't a perfect lap, Rosberg's was, the gap (MV) was only 0,2 s on a 1:4X lap track. His real dealness depends on competition (or lack thereof), how close they were to Merc and how you rate his team-mate. China would be better example.

At least he didn't blame the car like Verstappen - dude your Red Bull is stable under sideways braking and you complain about it :wtf: ? Try some mid-field POS that doesn't drive twice the same way.

After ignoring Verstappen's dangerous driving FIA's fight for safety and standards continues: Perez got eight places (?!) for nothing, Hamilton 0 for crash (material world event) in Spain.
The most disgusting thing about Whiting/FIA is not that they're blatantly cheating, ignoring safety issues, illegal and dirty driving, applying different standards to teams and drivers but this arrogance, holier than thou attitude when they decide to act and target drivers. This "it was so obviously unsafe" when five seconds earlier they ignored transgressions 10 times more dangerous. Same for audience.

Perez clearly did not slow down under the yellow flags sufficiently, and when he passed a car that was dangerous under yellows too. The stewards report stated clearly that he failed to slow down through two "blind" corners, He was not to know that race marshalls or medical staff were not on the track, especially with the lack of run off areas. What Perez did was totally unsafe and he deserves his penalty.

Yes he did, but that is not the point.
Point is that too many drivers get away with their dirty moves, like rosberg did in Hungary.
What Max has to do to get a penalty? Kill someone?

The drivers are competitive animals and will always push as hard and as fast as possible, occasionally they get it wrong and cross the line and are usually rebuked for it. Every driver has made a transgression of some form or another, Max's defending into corners was very borderline but not illegal, Rosberg's lift through yellows followed the letter of the law but not it's intent ( To ensure the safety of marshals and drivers). It is and always will be a gladiator fight and the good guy without that extra selfish killer instinct will be just that, A Good Guy/Driver but not a champion.

What is all this about Mercedes saying Lewis car was effectively not the same as Nicos yesterday, not producing enough downforce? With Toto even going as far as to say Mercedes failed Lewis for qualifying

Indeed it was quite a surprisingly big gap, whether or not you think Nico may have still got pole.

Ferrari have changed Vettel's PU and Gearbox.
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.
