I dont have a particularly long or glorious Car history as I tend to keep my cars for a long time:
1/ '74 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan w/ Jap Spec 1.3ltr 4cyl engine (replacing stock 1.1ltr), 4 speed manual - My Teenager car
2/ '88 Ford Telstar GL Sedan w/ 2.0ltr 4cyl & 5 Speed manual (Basically a mazda 626 made in Sydney by Ford)
First New car:
3/ Late '02 Mazda 323 Astina 1.8ltr 4cly & 5 speed manual - brilliant car, handles great especially with Pirelli P1 tires fitted!
I Still have it and mainly drive it to the railway station and back.
Current Family Car:
4/ MY10 Series 2 Mazda 6 Wagon Touring 2.5ltr 4cyl & 5 speed auto - This is the Family car and the big torquey motor and great chassis make it a great drive, we've got about 150k on the clock thanks to regular family trips from Melbourne to Adelaide to see our families at xmas etc.
Im a big fan of Mazda's, here in Australia their Service is universally excellent, servicing costs are much much lower than the European brands (which are beyond a joke!) and they are really well tuned for Australian roads with great handling and are equipped with nice petrol engines and decent gearboxes (eg no rubbish cable clutches or gear shift linkages).
PS, I've driven loads of more interesting cars but not worth trying to list them all here.
