Red Bull RB13 TAG Heuer

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The sidepods has a bit of F22 Raptor feel to them, looks very nice.

there is something under the hood (under TagHeuer & Aston logo) ...so bulky there
Maybe the exhaust runs over the cylinder heads like in a Ferrari 2014

Everything looks oddly simplistic, even by RB standards.
Thanks for pics, everyone.

Red Bull seems to like the low drag route this time.

Look to simple....there must be something going on under the car with the floor and diffuser, so they don't need that much winglets on the "outside" of the car

Wow, Newey has even ditched the tiny little windshield they ran last year!

I agree! There has to be something 'different'.. or at least, Adrian Newey's magic has to be there.. somewhere..

And they're very, very, keen to obscure more than past years with screens blocking everything etc.etc..

Yes very low draggy car. Looks like Newey learned thing or two designing AM-RB 001, where floor is the main thing.

The emphasis is on efficiency, It’s not just about generating huge downforce; this car is likely to be very efficient aerodynamically, meaning it can run at many venues with less than maximum wing levels and can trim the car accordingly.
