Some positive aspects:

1. The PU sounds more "normal" If one can use this term. More similar to other engines.
2. The filming day was ok and it seems that there is some relief in McLaren.
3. Alonso seemed to be happy with the PU and the car, not a serious test but its good to see him happy.

4. The car was painted orange, so it seems to be orange in colour this year.
5. Also, the car seems to have 4 wheels, which is good because they will need those.
6. The pit crew are wearing fleeces, so it must be cold.

Well they can sound obvious but previous seasons all those aspects weren´t .

Eat something more, irony should be accompanied with something more palatable.

my opinion the livery needs more orange in place of matt black on sidepod and engine cover ....but i prefer chrome in place of black and rocket red in place of white on current livery....

Bad news for McLaren. Honda has found an oil systems issue, which requires a full investigation. The team plans to run again today, but "due to the difficult access location, it will take several hours to resolve".

Many of us hoped, the new livery would look better on track.
Now we see a piece of vomit with McLaren stickers standing around.
It's really sad.

I disagree with everything you said, from the importance of a livery, right through to disliking the new livery.

Hah, fair enough really.

If I'm honest I may have been too harsh on it anyway, seeing it on the track, it's growing on me.

Fingers crossed Fernando's oil leak gets sorted and the car actually gets track time today...

If you don't find anything that needs improving at testing. Then you've wasted testing, or your car is too conservative.

And as for those that have been saying this is proof that the car/engine hasn't run on a dyno and Honda were lying about it
I thought the half term was over?
