Again, I have had to remove a number of posts as they were comments about driving styles and handling during testing., comparing drivers and different cars. This thread is for actual technical details of the car. By all means, do discuss times, style etc, but on the testing thread, please.

Look at the way the brake ducts angle down as it loses speed for the first turn. I just think that's odd.

Happens to all the cars, it's simply the enormous braking torque twisting the hub, taking the brake ducts with it.
Was very visible last year on the nose pod cam aiming at the front suspension.

Did they remove the cooling lines on the floor? If yes, where have they placed the coolers?

Could it be that on straights the rake is lower and the whole car is more in parallel with ground and when they brakes into the corners the rear is up again and there fore the brake ducts facing down?

This should not change the angle of the camera relative to the body.

I think the FOM cam some sort of parallelometer to keep the cam at the same angle, as the car brakes the whole car dives forward while the cam keeps the same angle, thus the components just seem to fall over the 'horizon' .

Edit:
Same with Bottas' ... its just the dive effect emphasized with the stability cam feature.

If I'm not mistaken, ducts tend to go down just a bit after Kimi brakes, so unless I'm imagining things it's not related directly to brake application. It's related to braking of course, just not directly to brake pedal.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

It doesn't have anything to do with the camera changing its angle relative to the car, you can see that the "B" on the Hublot logo stays at the same place at the bottom of the image.
It may have a little bit to do with the suspension compression making the a-arms hide the duct. But I think it's just the torque from the brakes twisting the upright and the brake ducts with them, as has been mentioned before.

Exactly that, it's noticable on a few cars from the past few years, it's been mentioned on here before somewhere.

That is not a small amount of twist and it would mess with suspension points on upright as well and they don't seem to move. This is not my area at all, but I'm not sure you would want to allow such big deformations to occur 10-15 times per lap.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

They surely know that it bends and probably is intentional. It will be working with the FW and the blown axles...
