Predictions before qualifying? Mine is with second row possibly struggling and being overtaken at the start.

Why are our messages regarding the smog in China gone ?

Shall we start self censoring now ? If you say 'offtopic' I call bullsh!t. Isn't it the same old hypocrisy ? Blame and loath the poor ignorant b@stard wannabe dictator in the east for being a dictator, and go on to silence a simple factual statement, just as he would.

Was Hulk sitting this high in Australia as well? His head is some 50-60mm higher than others...

- Is Giovinazzi at Ferrari already =P~ ?
- People are really weird, he drives one races in circles, Chilton style, beating no one and he's ready not only for F1 but for a top team.

I do remember that the regulations somewhat freeze the car setup after Qualifying. As we expect the weather to get worse again for tomorrow, how do the teams react on it?

Will they sacrifice some speed for Q to have a decent (rain) race setup, even if it means to give away some positions at the grid or will they only look to get the maximum out of Q and hope for good weather on Sunday?

Thank you.

Mercedes Qualy mode still gives them something of an edge.
Unbelievably close between Bottas and Vettel.
Red Bull nowhere.

Palmer shouldn't be in F1.

Hmm........the Mercedes number 2 driver scores an almost identical time as the number 1 Ferrari driver so it could be argued that with regard to the cars that Hamilton alone is the difference. 4 tenths covers the top 4.

I will say that's it's still nicely very, very close.

Ferrari (especially Vettel) are doing well. There is a gulf to Red Bull. Almost 1.5 sec down on HAM, 1.3 down on VET. If we see in Q1 & Q2, Ferrari and Merc were at par. Ferrari was probably ahead slightly. But, in Q3 Mercs turn up the volume as always. Shows that Ferrari yet does not have a Qualy mode. This seems to hurt them. The trend continues on VET outpacing BOT by a hair and RAI way off VET. Rain may shake things up tomorrow but I still fancy a Merc win
