Well looks like it'll be dry for the rest of the weekend, go figure, in case it's dry tomorrow any takers on pole time? They're usually 2 seconds faster in Q than they are in P2, so if that trend continues mid to low 19's or high 18's are possible. The fastest lap ever around Monza was a 1:19.5 by JPM.

Seems like the right place to ask this. I'm on holiday in Rome this week and, while I can watch the race on TV in my hotel room, I was wondering whether there are any bars etc that people can recommend to watch it in and take in some of the atmosphere?

Does anyone know what happened to Kvyat? Also, McLaren going well. Might manage a points finish this weekend (assuming the engine doesn't blow up/ disintegrate/melt/etc.

The look good on the time sheets, but I was not impressed by how they ran. I still think they will be swamped by everyone bar renault and sauber in 10 laps.

Not the best city to watch f1 btw the only two places in the city center I remember were "The Trinity college pub" and "the Highlander Pub".

So according to AMuS, the long run pace looks very promising for Mercedes. Fuel corrected, they seem to think that Mercedes is up to 4 tenths faster on the SS, and up to 3 tenths quicker on the soft.

I think Ferrari will claw some of that back if they get the set-up right. Vettel mentioned he didn't feel confident in the car today, and that's worth a lot here.

I'm not suprised on the softs as they just seemed to get them to click in Spa too.
