Yet Vet said he was going for marbles pick up. Now I'm no expert but I don't think the racing line is the place to pick them up. Although Vet is the expert so maybe it is.NathanOlder wrote: ↑01 Oct 2017, 21:46The 3 ferrari onboard pics look like Vettel heading to the Apex?
I think its ironic that some Vettel fans are blaming Stroll for doing what they said Vettel was allowed to do in Singapore. Sweep across the track and block the car behind.
It doesn't matter now, what happenwd has happened. What matters is wether he needs a gearbox change or not.
did you watch the video or look at the screenshots up there ^^? There is not blame on Stroll technical or otherwise. Vettel tore his car up because... I don't know you'd have to ask Vettel but Stroll maintains a slow steady arc through a turn. This on on a cool down lap mind you.
I don't know what steady arc means in your vocabulary..
The closer the trailing camera the wider the angle and the wider the distance would seem but there is no movement. look at Vettel's onboard and cross reference with this. A steady arc means not WTF Vettel did.F1NAC wrote: ↑01 Oct 2017, 23:01I don't know what steady arc means in your vocabulary..

Exactly you can't blame people for going offline during a cooldown lap. They even go on the runoff areas if the rubber is there. Plus the guys have a pretty heavy workload getting through the menus to get the car ready for shutdown.TAG wrote: ↑01 Oct 2017, 22:38did you watch the video or look at the screenshots up there ^^? Indeed. Ham did exactly this. He went off track to do his pick up right before he gave Ves a clap.Edax wrote: ↑01 Oct 2017, 23:24Exactly you can't blame people for going offline during a cooldown lap. Besides if people blame Stroll for not seeing Vettel in that little bouncy thing they call mirror, how about vettel not being able to see that he was not able to clear that big martini thing that was right in front of his visor.
I mean this is not like the chaos of a singapore start. This is more like changing lanes on a motorway. Plenty of time to anticipate and to pay attention to what other people are up to. Vettel messed this one up pretty badly.
Picking their noses or texting would be my two guesses, one difficult to do with a helmet on the other difficult to do with gloves on. If it had been Lewis, I also would have guessed instagraming.
That is what I keep coming back too.turbof1 wrote: ↑02 Oct 2017, 01:02Hello guys and girls, it's been a while.
Regarding the absolutely weird accident: I'm still not able to comprehend how this was even possible. Both drivers must have been busy with settings on their steering wheels and totally oblivious on their surroundings. Regardless of analyses who is wrong or who is correct, both were in a position where they could have backed out of their upcoming collision, and both should have taken avoiding action. It's a situation outside of competition, and one getting the pickup line later than the other should not have made any difference.
I certainly would not want any of those 2 next to me in normal traffic... .
You know it is just fan votes don't you?TAG wrote: ↑01 Oct 2017, 17:34Vettel keeps raking in these Driver of The Day awards, he's got this year's title sewn up!
