How works the round vertex of Sidepods

I´m very interesting to know how aero works in the low round vertex of the f1 sidepods. Somebody have a good simulation??

How works the air-vortex to stop the side inlet to the difuser, when the car turns??

Well i think the air is travelling at the same speed around the car, that it is underneth the car.

Another thing is a read from BAR is that air effectivley sticks to the bottom of the sidepods becaise of the above.
