Only he wasn't on the racing line. The racing line into turn one, is on the extreme right side of the track. Max was on the left side of the track.

Indeed, far from adding excitement, if all drivers did it we would see no overtaking.

Its most likely best to not 'go there' - at all - with the subjective/emotive stuff..

IMO, there's just too much room for misperception/misrepresentation - if you do.. ( & hence, the l.o.l..)
