I didn't follow FP1 fully, saw Fernando had brake issues and lost most of the session time but what about Stoffel? The FP1 standings don't look that positive.

He was lapping most of the time, I saw some flo-vis on his front wing as well. Maybe they weren't going for max pace laps. Fernando's first flying lap 's sector 1 was only 8 tenths off RIC's time but he dropped a lot by the second sector.

8 tenths off in a sector on Monaco is A LOT.

they only good for 8/9 place or 9/10 place at best. Same as last year.

qualy is going to be madness the midfield pack is very very compact and traffic will play major role !

Pace doesn't look too bad actually. Qually is going to be tight! There's definitely a good chance of both McLarens reaching Q3 here. A lot of teams are really struggling with their tyres, particularly the Hypers. Could be an opportunity for McLaren who, like Red Bull, look to be kinder on them. Going to be a lottery!
