But this is at the Nürenburgring Nordschleife still pretty darn fast. Nearly 1 minute faste then the old record, wich was from Stefan Bellof in 6:11:130

Amazing. 229mph/369 kph down the back straight. 60mph/100kph around the outside of Carousel. The driver's head gets jostled quite a lot.

Hitting the limiter at 368km/h for hundreds meters in that narrow straight while the car is pitching front-aft heavily due to the bumps must be stressing

There are some fast and blind corners wich are really scary at that speed

This is just mindblowing. It's like in time-lapse. The corner speed, the acceleration via boost and how easily it gets up to 369 km/h are nothing more than crazy.

Shows what engineers are capable of doing when there are no limits.

It'll never happen, but wouldn't it be good to see Mercedes or Ferrari do the same thing with a current F1 car - take the aero and PU beyond the rules and see what such a car is really capable of. I wouldn't be surprised to see the record fall again.

Definitely, that would be amazing. Why wouldn't they think of that? Look at how everybody talks about Porsche now. That surely is an advantage for the brand, I would say.

Yes! Anytime your limiter is 229 mph and you're bumping into it on something that is more of a closed public highway than a modern FIA track, then you're doing something special. Delicious. The second seat in the LMP1 car was just to accomodate Bernhard's balls!

The acceleration out of corners is crazy. Very perceptible. The video is almost cartoonish.
