Third race in a row where Merc seems to be in a league of its own. What the hell have they found with the car.. Ferrari have no chance of winning the championship even without the mistakes they've made.

I don't think that they have found so much (but something) but Ferrari is getting worse. The question is why...

Its more like Ferrari's speed and tyre handling have suddenly vanished. Tyre handling in particular; for a few races now they've been chewing through tyres - the exact opposite of the first half of the season. Its really strange.

There are the rumours of a second sensor measuring their electrical output, but rumours can't be taken seriously without official confirmation.

We can be pretty sure ferrari is in fact getting worse because RB is getting closer on power tracks.

Agreed but let's wait until tomorrow when the engines are turned up fully. If RB is close to Ferrari we know Ferrari somehow managed to make a step backwards.

Perhaps they have a problem with reliability of the engines!?

Wow McLaren actually forgot to tell Pirelli which tyres they want for this weekend.

Ferrari, without any doubts, made several steps backwards. From fastest to, by far, second fastest in a period of few races. It’s really strange. And it surely isn’t only the (reportedly) lost engine advantage, but more significantly the tyre handling, set up issues or whatever makes them have less traction and at the same time chew through the tyres.

Mercedes making the usual progress in combination to big Ferrari issues make us feel being thrown back to 2016 at the moment.

I did not see, that they were clearly the fastest in any race. But they were equal to Mercedes and I would say that as a very very good performance. The Mercedes is an outright superb car and if you can get on par with that for a few races: kudos. Mercedes is dominant again: second kudos to that. Clearly they have the best performance over the last 5 years, I could not recall such a dominance ever. Big effort.

Looking at how Ferrari has had absolutely no chance against Mercedes from Singapore on, yes, I definitely agree with you that they would have not won the championship without all the mistakes either. The gap even keeps on increasing.

Is only Ferrari having blisters?
Yea, I think it was only them!
Not so long ago they were among the best with the tyres. Now they are much worse, PU power has decreased.. what the hell is going on?

Without the mistakes and perhaps with 3 more victories, at least we could still hope for some excitement in the last races... #-o

I don't think so. Mercedes is as dominant as they can be. Hamilton will win the championship even with 2 DNFs.

I do expect he Will win but at least we could have some emotion with Seb being ahead of at least equal on points.

Well, I do remember Aldo Costa before the start of the season saying that this years car IS a beast.
