Interesting that McLaren have signed another drinks company....so that’s now 3 with Coca-Cola (still listed on their website however no confirmation they’ve extended their deal), Estrella Gallicia and now Huski. You’d think they would be a conflict for the different entities!
Either way if this is a rear wing sponsor that’s a good coup for McLaren as at present it seems they have many smaller deals therefore this larger sponsor can only be beneficial money wise and less blank space on the car

There's a chance Petrobras might take more space now that they're fully involved but I'm not so sure. The biggest candidate for filling the vacancy is Coke.
Do you think F1 team's might do deals where they offer a reduced rate to sponsors initially and then, if/when said sponsor gets an agreed level of exposure, the rate goes up?

It's all behind the curtain so no one can say for sure. What's certain is deals are a lot more fluid these days because of lack of new sponsor interest in the sport; like Mclaren giving Coke three race sponsorship deal and Force India agreeing to have a contract with annual increments with SportPesa to build investor confidence by analyzing ROI.

I know i will get a lot of down votes for this, but i think it's the best for McLaren if they don't bring back Alonso, Yes he is a exceptional driver but McLaren should look forward and not dwel in the past
I think it depends on how the season pans out. If they build a good car capable of competing at/near the front but inconsistent performances from their drivers ruin their season (imagine a whole season like Verstappen’s first 10 races of 2018) then I can see them trying to bring Alonso back.
Yep, winning brings sponsors which allows them to (re)consider younger drivers. A one year deal with ALO that could bring them a WDC or WCC or at least in the top three would be a good return on investment.

They don't care about past or present, just pace and consistency; both of which Alonso has plenty of. I mean, he outqualified Vandoorne 21-0 last season alone...
Alonso's not coming back, as much as Button didn't come back after retirement.
There was a one-off moment he got back in the seat for Alonso.
That same MIGHT happen if Sainz gets a crach and breaks a leg or something if he couldn't drive.
Apart from that, Alonso is not coming back.
As sad as i think that is, as i think he's a absolute great and it's a loss for f1 he's not around.
