I think it's because of his hair, he's always looked older. The burden of high foreheads
Nah, even when you take the forehead away by hiding it in a cap, Kubica still looks quite old.

He had a few stressful years following his accident. The whole "will I ever be able to do my life's dream of driving in F1 again?" is likely to make anyone look older than might be expected. He suffered a life changing injury. Everyone ages a bit when that happens.
That no doubt contributes something, but there are numerous drivers who've had serious accidents and not aged so dramatically; Alex Zanardi and Billy Monger for instance.
