Correct. Not aimed at you at all.
However, it is apparent that this iteration of the front wing is a step in that direction with how/where the ends of the top flaps are meeting the end plate now. The flap profile has flattened out somewhat as a consequence. It's a step toward trying to maximize the outwash effect.
They're definitely fiddling with it, that much is clear. It is a small change, however, at this stage. I have no doubt they'll continue to play with this area as they learn how it interacts with the rest of the car. I agree that the flap has been flattened slightly to give it a slightly flatter angle. The slot gaps has been opened too. Presumably to try to get some more air though to interact with the endplate vortex.
S'funny how Mercedes said, at the start of testing, that they'd played with this concept early on but couldn't get it to work. And now here they are playing with it again. I guess they're learning as they go.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
