Does Ferrari have a “it will be fine” button on the pit wall? They use it for every question from the drivers...

Loving how James Allison just destroyed the "long wheelbase is bad for turning" argument (his sit-down with Ted) 😂 (accidentally posted in the wrong forum rofl)
hahahahahaha.....I absolutely loved it! That's one for the armchair aerodynamicists.

Those comments about "long wheelbase is bad" were rabid in 2017, across the threads.

Nope. I was about to post the same question. I only caught the last part of the interview.

Watching Hamilton's pole lap, he had a small moment correcting oversteer just before last turn. It could have been even better

Norris once again turning heads. Sainz isn’t slow and has plenty of experience but his young rookie teammate does it again.

Looking at the future we have LeClerc, Norris, Albon and Russell all being faster than experienced teammates in the same equipment. Of those LeClerc is actually this season going toe to toe with a 4 time WDC. The other 3 have been better than their teammate so far this season so far.

Gasly is awful BTW. When a team mate gets to beat you by around half a second when he is on a slower tyre (Q2) then you need to start making other plans.

Guys, could anyone post a streamable link of the Ted's Development Corner II with James Allison?

I'd like this too, I can't see it in my country.

Can anyone find more details around Vettel’s ‘missed upchange’? Is there any indication if his slow qualifying was a car problem?

There is footage of that upshift incident and I've seen it (tho I can't find a link now) it definitely affected his first lap but I don't know if that happened in the second runs as well. It's probably solely down to the heavy wind/lack of grip that he was so slow and maybe a problem in the gearbox contributed just a little to that if it did anyways.

These tech talks are great. He doesn't give away any secrets - the teams already know this stuff themselves - but it does engage with fans in a way that the other teams don't and nobody did under Bernie's reign. Hopefully we'll see more of this sort of thing. =D>
