Those comments about "long wheelbase is bad" were rabid in 2017, across the threads.erudite450 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 16:47hahahahahaha.....I absolutely loved it! That's one for the armchair aerodynamicists.
Nope. I was about to post the same question. I only caught the last part of the interview.Unc1eM0nty wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 16:53Do you have link to this pleaseerudite450 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 16:47hahahahahaha.....I absolutely loved it! That's one for the armchair aerodynamicists.

agreed the future looks bright, they all need cars capable of competing though, let all hope eh?Restomaniac wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 17:11Norris once again turning heads. Sainz isn’t slow and has plenty of experience but his young rookie teammate does it again.
Looking at the future we have LeClerc, Norris, Albon and Russell all being faster than experienced teammates in the same equipment. Of those LeClerc is actually this season going toe to toe with a 4 time WDC. The other 3 have been better than their teammate so far this season so far.
I'd like this too, I can't see it in my country.erudite450 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 17:29Guys, could anyone post a streamable link of the Ted's Development Corner II with James Allison?
There is footage of that upshift incident and I've seen it (tho I can't find a link now) it definitely affected his first lap but I don't know if that happened in the second runs as well. It's probably solely down to the heavy wind/lack of grip that he was so slow and maybe a problem in the gearbox contributed just a little to that if it did anyways.
These tech talks are great. He doesn't give away any secrets - the teams already know this stuff themselves - but it does engage with fans in a way that the other teams don't and nobody did under Bernie's reign. Hopefully we'll see more of this sort of thing.Unc1eM0nty wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 16:59
