I’d agree. The WCC pays the teams bills at the end of the day. The WDC only boosts the driver. I’m not saying the team doesn’t want both, but if left to choose one or the other I would think WCC is preferred.

So painful. Not only his lack of speed, but also car positioning during racing. Even the communication with his engineer seems to lack. Is it me or that engineer sounds a bit robotic? Saying every word/phrase twice?

I think Red Bull should get themselves with this "we promote junior drivers" narrative. They've already done so much in giving young drivers an opportunity in F1. But right now, they don't have a 2nd driver of the calibre of a team fighting for the WCC as well. If they had Danny Ric right now, they'd still be in a fight for the WCC. There's no shame in going outside the Red Bull fold for the 2nd seat. If they had a good driver available, no problem, but they don't. Honestly, a lot of drivers would jump through hoops for that seat. If I was them, I'd be targeting drivers like Hulk, Checo, Kimi, even if it's for short term. Gasly shouldn't be allowed to waste that seat. Pound for pound, George Russell is doing a better job than he is.

How do you think...is it so difficult to adjust driving style to car? For me it`s alot more difficult to construct a car suitable for someone`s driving style. Talking that RB is built around Max is nonsense for me...What will happen if Max leave for Mercedes nesxt year? RB will have to construct new car for 2020? I think that Gasly is just too young and inexperienced. He is scared by the car and not to "kiss the wall" again. Shortshifting all the time.... RB know that too. They never intended to put him in RB car for 2019. Ricciardo messed things up...I think Marko and Horner will wait for him till the end of the season. For me Gasly just need to relax and push the car to the limits a little bit more.

Quite clearly the gap between Max and Gasly is more than 0.3secs. You build a team around a driver that gives you a reason to build a team round him. Max has proved he is such a driver, and I don't think he specifically asked for it, it was just a no brainer for Red Bull. 0.9secs from. your team mate in stable conditions is just plain unacceptable, except the team sent you out on 3 wheels or something. Gasly is 7 points ahead of Carlos, Max is 114 ahead of Carlos and 107 ahead of Gasly... Is Gasly driving a McLaren painted in Red Bull livery? Enough said.

Oh and something more on Gasly topic - If we are true Redbull - Honda fans and I`m sure we all are we have to support him. I think that will be very usefull for his self esteem. And I`m sure that we all want this second place in WCC. Redbull Honda car is alot better that Ferrari ATM. And it will be so unfair red cars to take it. Because it`s the only positive thing that you can do as a RB - Honda fan and supporting him can actually change something. As we all can see he will be RB second driver till the end of the season.
And by supporting him I dont just mean to like the page. Write him a message or something. I have some friends top level athletes and you cant imagine how much dependent are they from people`s opinion and how their achievements can change when they have people`s support.
