Thank you Hasika-san, here's Part 2 and 3 I've translated.
part 2
On the possibility of using Spec3 from here on including Suzuka
q: Fundamentally, I would think that the ICE improvement is indispensable, so in that regard can we say that the progress is big?
a: Just think of it as an evolution of Spec3
q: For the remaining races, will Spec3 be used based on the circuit?
a: Ofcourse, its obvious that the newest Spec is best, but taking into account penalties it's not unfathomable to continue using a previous spec. This is ongoing through the year.
q: It seemed that Spec4 itself was ready for some time, so was it simply gauging when to
introduce it?
a: Since we entered the 3 week break we were able to align a number of necessary things. With that, from after summer break considering that there are successive high speed circuits, we decided to time the introduction in Belgium.
q: are there also fuel updates?
a: it will not be introduced at the same time.
q: stop to think of it, after the introduction of spec3 was there a struggle for
calibration? There were the high temps and turbo lags issues.
a: Admittedly after the introduction, we've added improvements. We battled through the races while sorting out all the last bits. It justs that compared to the status of the Spec3 introduction from last year, the learnings from after the upgrade went quite smoothly.
q: Is the fact that you've introduced this Spec4 with 9 remaining races indicative of more updates to come?
a: ... we will try! (laugh) While we have to look at the various circumstances, yet with every upgrade will come penalties. That is what we need to think through.
On Pierre Gasly and Alexander Albon swapping
q: For instance with the constructors championship battle for 2nd with Ferrari, it looks like its going to be
a balancing act of improved performance and penalties?
a: There is that as well. Ofcourse there is also Toro Rosso's battle for 5th which is important. We are aware of the competition.
q: Regarding the recent Red Bull driver swap. Your personal thoughts on that?
a: Personally i was shocked, but it doesn't change what we do on Honda side. The staff do not move with the driver, and our work flow up is set up such that the drivers can be swapped in.
q: For good measure, was there discussion on rearranging staff?
a: We did, but it didn't really amount to a discussion.
q: From Honda-side, would it have been more desirable to not have a mid-season driver swap?
a: This is a team matter, and we will respect the decision they made. Above all this time it's a swap between teams that use the same power unit and it's not like a driver from a different team joined. It did not cause us any inconvenience. We wishfor both teams to be forward looking.
