Seriously, are you comparing the interior of a tesla with one of a porsche? Tesla is a luxuary what?!?!? hahahhaahah
omg.... any mercedes, audi, Porsche or BMW is wayyy better built, and is way more luxurious...

its like comparing a Swatch with a Rolex... yes the rolex does nothing more than a Swatch does.., the Taycan does little or no more than the Tesla in terms of speed or battery life... but the quality and finish is just on another level, and thats why if you can , you buy the rolex. same thing here.

Tesla is a good car, but it is in no way even close to what a Porsche is...

The interior on the Taycan is indeed cramped but if we are to compare build quality Porsche wins hands down.

Apparently the Taycan is just a 5 year old Rimac. Hardly Porsche tech and hardly new.
Porsche like always will profit insane amounts on this car.

I think there is a bit more nuance then "a five year old Rimac". This is something very common in tech, you buy/invest in the early startups to develop something experimental into consumer ready.

Exactly! My parents bought a Jeep, and for me one of the biggest pains while trying it out was finding where to press the screen to configure the stereo and AC. This is probably a losing battle, but I hope car makers will eventually realize that having everything operated by touch screens is a pain in the behind.

What do you mean cars like that? Im talking about Porsche the company with some of the highest profits made per car and now they´ve pulled a genius stroke again and simply sold a car that already existed with a new body style put on top of it. The profit margins will be insane compared to other electrical cars because they did not have to develop anything on the drivetrain side, they just took the drivetrain from the shelf at Rimac and put it in a Taycan.

The drivetrain IS Rimac.

A lot of drivetrains are not built by the manufacturer of the car. A lot comes from third parties like Magna, like Continental and like Bosch. Or in this case Rimac.
Yes 15% of Rimac is owned by Porsche, but that just means that they effectively get a 15% discount.

Its a Rimac Concept One slightly tweaked and sold with a Porsche interior and exterior.
Rimac Concept One premiered in 2011.

Rimac helps and partners with a lot of different companies like Koenigsegg and Aston but this is way different.
But smart, i bet the profit margins will be through the roof compared to other electrical cars on the market.

A very brief bit of googling reveals a Taycan has 2 motors and a two speed gearbox, whereas the Rimac Concept One uses individual wheel motors, i.e. 4 motors. So no, the Taycan is not a tweaked Rimac.

Why has the Taycan Turbo such a high energy consumption (kWh/100 km) and thereby short range in comparison to other EVs. Especially because the Taycan Turbo is quite slippery with its cd of 0.22.

Taycan Turbo: 26
Model S Performance: 22
E-Tron: 22,6–26,2

The only reason I can see are very sticky tires with a high rolling resistance. Or can the drive train (motor and gearbox) be so bad?
Any ideas?

They do and Rimac, although they make some own cars, they are trying to take the market for EV powertrains like ZF has that for transmissions. Pretty cleaver actually. They also have a big investment from Kia/Hyundai
