I don't think Hamilton can snatch pole here or even front row, so lights to flag win is out of the question in my book.PlatinumZealot wrote: β02 Nov 2019, 02:12Sticking my wheelgun out and going with a Hamilton lights to flag victory.
Certainly Mercedes and RedBull are close. ferrari is behind but can still upset in the hands of LeClerc if they manage to hustle their way to the front thru strategy or good old overtaking.
Verstappen is obviously on a mission to make up for last week. I see him overdriving again and crashing or something come race day of he doesn't relax on lap one.
Were they in different strat modes? Why do you think Hamilton was running his engine harder than Bottas?
Because he wanted to top FP2 snd that is where points are available. Simple. It has nothing to do with him being good on this track.Just_a_fan wrote: β02 Nov 2019, 03:05Were they in different strat modes? Why do you think Hamilton was running his engine harder than Bottas?
Seems like Ferrari is trying to do one stopper like Mercedes, starting on Med & going to Hard. RB trying Soft-Med-Soft. With the track aiding good overtaking, aggressive strategies can work well. Mercedes would definitely be looking for one stopper.zibby43 wrote: β02 Nov 2019, 01:51I view it as a slightly different pecking order.
Mercedes looks to have commanding race pace.

Indeed. It seems some are incapable of impartiality.GPR -A wrote: β02 Nov 2019, 03:46Because he wanted to top FP2 snd that is where points are available. Simple. James Allison confirmed Bottas lost the time on the straight. I wish he would stop being so impartial.Restomaniac wrote: β02 Nov 2019, 09:02Indeed.
