Dont think the c3 run was the cleanest of laps, pretty sure i saw him run wide at turn 7

His lap on C3 was a very narrow personal best despite not posting a single green sector, kind of proves that they still haven’t really put together a full push lap yet. Pace on the C2 looked very strong, only a couple of tenths back from the RP on C3 and comparable to the Red Bull on the same tyres (although I’m not for one minute expecting the McLaren to be ahead of the Red Bull).

26.8 was on c2, so i think decent time, spirit is good,accordingly to Seidl+Key targets have been meet, and they stubbornly desist to go fast, so they seem very confident, i think they will be strong

I am not sure if 'observing' from one particular corner gives an idea about the overall performance of the car. It doesn't even give a full picture of the balance of the car, considering the variables like fuel load and the setup; if the interviews are to be believed, they are starting setup work only today; so, we can expect improvement while the other car in question is arguably dialled into ideal setup already as it's not a brand new design. Further, when one 'observes' he/she would tend to naturally have a bias towards the last year's championship winning car. To conclude, no matter what anyone says, everything is a mere speculation at this stage. Let's wait for Melbourne.
