Williams appears to be back on the right track, with the car build timed perfectly and running fine on the first day of testing. But what exactly is differerent on their new FW43 compared to the troubled 2019 car?
Enstone were the titanium people. They change to carbon recently though. Only Williams remains.

Well, for the first time in two years, Williams’ fastest time in winter testing wasn’t the slowest of all, which has got to be a good thing (they were ahead of Haas and Alfa). However, because we don’t know fuel loads and other bits and bobs, it’s not clear if that translates to being on par with or ahead of any other teams. Several ‘experts’ including Gary Anderson think that Williams is still last, albeit by tenths rather than seconds. Anderson thinks Williams’ fastest runs were with a bit less fuel than other teams, for some reason.
