Anyone know of a technical non F1 car site? ps new member

Post

Hey, I'm trying to find a similar site to this, but not related to Toyota, but GT, Uphill, and modified road cars. But i am looking for sites differnet from those I am currently members of - the kind where they talk about buying Blitz this, and HKS that. I am looking for technical people who look at things from a physics aspect in terms of aerodynamics, cg, etc.
(I myself am no expert, but am doing my studies, hopefully in January I continue, if I get into the course I am hoping at University.)
Thanks.

Ahh. Not really what i was looking for. never mind, seems like most of the stuff you talk about in the technical section is at most of times generic and technical advanced enough to apply to any automible racing.

I think he wanted a site made for production cars and modifying them.

Try http://www.honda-tech.com

There should be a grip on the internet; they shouldn't be hard to find.
Bring back wider rear wings, V10s, and tobacco advertisements

Nah i was more into the kind of site of http://www.gmecca.com/byorc/ ratehr than that honda stuff. I am already a member of many of those production car modifying sites. I want to learn how to modify things at level of redesigning. Example, I don't want to know which is the best aftermarket manifold to buy, or buy one from the local shop who probably know nothing about escape velocities and turbulance and that ---. I wana learn what physics is needed to design the different things i want to re-make so to say. I don't know if i am explaining myself.
Thanks a lot by the way. ;)

I agree with ya. Normal car modify site always come up with after market parts review and how much people spend on the cars.
I think race car is so much more that spending a lot of money to buy after market parts and bolt them on the car.
