I would say Hamilton would have been all over him like a cheap suit.
He’s a much better chaser than Bottas for sure. Max would have made it very difficult to pass. Could have been an absolute ding dong battle!
True but I think it’s safe to assume that with a car that was better on its tyres and quicker that Hamilton would be all over him.
Definitely. That’s what you want really. Hamilton and Verstappen are both really good hunters. Exactly where Bottas is really lacking and it hurts him.

veeery boring race if we can call it as race
You can find plenty of F1 races in the past that looked like this, including many from the “hay day”.

Just how it goes.
I know. This not my first time too

Hamilton just put a 24 second gap, without trying to hard on Redbull. Anyone dreaming performance from RedBull that doesn’t exist, needs a solid wake-up.

It honestly wasn't that bad IMO. There were lots of neat overtaking moves around the outside. :)

Albon was lapped by Max. It looks terrible.
The tactic that Albon was given was abysmal.

Prelli must bring here softest compound again. But they have zero intention for exitement. They just need some number to add other numbers.

It is what it is.

Mercedes now seem to have accepted that Hamilton has the WDC and it’s now a 2 way fight for 2nd and so Bottas needed that point to stay with Verstappen.

If that happens, Red Bull has to go for 4 stops, based on today's performance. Isn't it?

So Hamilton instinctively told the team to NOT fit the Soft even though they were adamant but to fit the Medium instead and he was completely correct. Wolff said it was amazing that he could see it when the team couldn’t and that putting them on Bottas at the end was wrong.

It has echos of Verstappen last week who told the team that driving like a grandma was a bad idea. Some drivers have amazing instincts
