Some team mate schooling going on.

Lewis and Ricardo destroyed their teammates...

Also, slipstream mostly hurting people, I think.

Bottas got it in him to shock everyone just needs to keep it tidy.
Yep it’s a shock........He’s half a second behind and sneaks ahead of Verstappen.

Bottas 8.0 rules obviously.
Can't believe he's got that seat, just as bad as Albon. 😉

Chandok stating that the gap was flattered by Bottas having a bad session rather than Hamilton having an exceptional one. Quite accurate when you look at the gaps to Max and the rest of the field.

Might have held my breath during S2 from Hamilton. Mental car.
Yeah those were some insane outboard shots. Might as well say just as I predicted it could happen, lap record did in fact fall.
Anyone hazard a guess who's been fastest trough pouhon though? A hint, it wasnt hamilton

Brundle's commentary during the last Q3 run was one of awe. Something like "That must be the grippiest racing car in history. It's on rails!"

You are right of course, but can you imagine anyone going to Ferrari heads and saying- erm, look, I don't like this 'stretching the rules' stuff, I think we should stop doing it.

(thinks, > did not let the door hit me on the way out< now off to look on linkedin.)
This is true, of course and you are correct, but I’m not sure they did this in the smartest way. At least hide it the best you can. And if your whole design philosophy is based on a questionable engine, then that’s really asking for it to blow up in your face spectacularly. I think they need a proper leader with streetwise smarts. Brawn and Todt both had that in abundance. Ron Dennis and Frank Williams did. Horner does. The Merc leadership team does.
Think they are missing Smedley? I know he was not 'management' but he seemed an organiser
Maybe? Not sure he was quite high up enough to have a huge effect but he had that personality type you probably want. Someone to inspire other people. It’s just not in the mindset or personality of the vast majority of out and out Specialist engineers.

Post quali interviews:
Lewis: I had a great lap...
Bottas: I had a good lap...
Max: I had a decent lap...

Seems Bottas (or max) needs to re-evaluate

Someone should be critical of what Renault are doing. Their pace is suspect. Last year brake balance, and this year they said they weren't bringing any PU upgrades. Right.

How come pole is still only 3 tenths faster than Vettel's Q2 in 2018?

Bottas taking it flat? Lewis in both Q3 laps lifted a little.

BTW, I believe they're again using strat 3 in Q3. Kemmel straight and Blachimont top speeds are very low. You heard anything on F1TV team radio?
