As soon as the safety car came out the winner was pretty much decided as it was obvious that everyone will pit for hards and nurse to the end.

Can you blame them or have you actually convinced yourself that was a good race? 😂
It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either there were lots of overtakes and good battles during the course of the race.

Unlike some I can handle it when my driver of choice doesn't win!
It was rubbish, my driver of choice won easily but it was terrible.
I take it you don't care about any of the racing that takes place behind P3?

Honestly noone really stood out today, it was just a meh race as the tyres dictated the action.
Shame that Ham got robbed of another grand slam on the final lap. IRRC its his third race where the FL was stolen at the end. He wouldve been the all time leader for GSs this year.

Of course but don't try and pretend it had great racing in the midfield either, it was just a long train of easy DRS passes.

Who again, wanted even harder and more durable tires?
I do, that would have allowed drivers to follow closer and put more pressure on each other. These tires force the drivers to leave space ahead or overheat. Watch imola 05, Schumacher couldn't get past, but it was exciting to watch him pressure ALO lap after lap, neither one having to worry about burning out their tires.

F1 needs much better tires, even if they can't build a cliff into them.

Disappointed in Dan as well, he claimed he was going to get the elbows out and send it when in reality he did neither.

Have to just mention that I wasn't impressed by Perez yet again being borderline dangerous. His squeeze on Gasly on the run down to Eau Rouge was inches from being a monster crash. He did the same thing against his team mate in a previous race here and if he keeps doing it, it's going to end up being very unpleasant.

I think Ocon would disagree with you, as It took several laps to set up that pass on Albon!

It was better than last year at Spa. There were some positive signs for the future with teams like Renault getting closer to the leaders on low-downforce tracks.

Who would’ve thought before the season Danny Ric would be securing fastest lap at Spa?

Positives and negatives from each race this season.

He already told that it actually wasn’t an easy race.
Haha... I "love" this guy. What a impudence...
Dude? Only impudence is coming from you! Couple weeks ago Ham has lost the tires in the last lap. All top 3 was lapping 2-3 seconds slower than Ric! So they were indeed in trouble to save the tires. lol. sour.?
Yes... their last laps were dramatic as hell... it's a mirace they survived /facepalm

Such boring procession... was it Monaco or SPA? oO
Waiting for Lewis'es commentary how tough this race was :D
Top three were all nursing their tyres. No one is saying anything that wasn't obvious to anyone that had actually watched the race.
Actually they weren't, they radio calls to the Mercs kept telling them to push hard to open a gap to RIC(I guess). I thought they should have cruised, but I don't think they did. I really thought they may pop the left fronts again like at the British GP.

So DRS pass then.

You could just stop watching then, DRS isn't going to go away anytime soon!

Disagree, the early SC forced them to pit early forcing a similar situation to the British GP where the tires might go pop.
