Have to just mention that I wasn't impressed by Perez yet again being borderline dangerous. His squeeze on Gasly on the run down to Eau Rouge was inches from being a monster crash. He did the same thing against his team mate in a previous race here and if he keeps doing it, it's going to end up being very unpleasant.
Nonsense, PER gave adequate space today and OCO was at fault for those previous collisions.

I think Ocon would disagree with you, as It took several laps to set up that pass on Albon!
So DRS pass then.
You could just stop watching then, DRS isn't going to go away anytime soon!
Thanks for your concern but I'll continue watching because there's sure to be a circuit that gives us a good race coming up soon. 👍

That is why they pitted Stroll past him. To prevent an Ocon&Perez like wall inspection fest. Ridiculous but that is how it works in team Stroll.

The team and drivers are not doing the car justice this season.

All of a sudden now he's in the best car he's probably had Perez has gone off the boil.

PER was shafted by not being pitted by the team during the SC, and then he was pitted too early, otherwise he drove well. He certainly did not go off the boil today.

I think Renault were fortunate here. Renault ran low-drag, RB ran a different package with downforce & Merc were the most sub-optimal with a giant amount of downforce comparatively, anticipating rain. Renault won’t be as close next week if everyone runs a similar package.
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

boring race. Ferrari was embarassing. Renault showed a lot of potential today. Their engine seems very powerful and maybe not as sophisticated as the mercedes, but they have made more progress than Ferrari have.
Bottas did not have an answer for Lewis. Albon is looking like he can race, but he just doesn't have front running pace.
A quiet race from max today too. Overall boring race thanks to the safety car.
For Sure!!

The differences were not that big

Haha... I "love" this guy. What a impudence...
Dude? Only impudence is coming from you! Couple weeks ago Ham has lost the tires in the last lap. All top 3 was lapping 2-3 seconds slower than Ric! So they were indeed in trouble to save the tires. lol. sour.?
Yes... their last laps were dramatic as hell... it's a mirace they survived /facepalm
I am pretty confident, you would declare this was the best race of the season if Ham failed to win. 8) 8)

It's hilarious. The fans found the race boring and the drivers saying it wasn't enjoyable. Never seen a more incompetent supplier in any business as Pirelli in F1. And Formula 1 doesn't care two hoots because we still tune in.

It's disgraceful how Paul Di Resta constantly wishes tyre failure for Mercedes live on air. His rose-tinted glasses must be too big for him not to have noticed that Danny Ricc finished just 3.5sec off Max.

If one of the best drivers of all time, driving the fastest car in the F1 history didn't win, then there must have been either a DNF for him OR a far better performance from his lapdog team mate OR someone else in another car must have done something incredible to beat that car and is worthy of calling the race a great race. A great driver running away in the fastest car of all time, does qualify to be a boring race. What is so incredible about this race?

Who again, wanted even harder and more durable tires?
I do, that would have allowed drivers to follow closer and put more pressure on each other. These tires force the drivers to leave space ahead or overheat. Watch imola 05, Schumacher couldn't get past, but it was exciting to watch him pressure ALO lap after lap, neither one having to worry about burning out their tires.

F1 needs much better tires, even if they can't build a cliff into them.
The cars not being able to follow has more to do with downforce, dirty air and the importance of the front wing. If every one had harder tires, everyone could push more.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II
